We at the International and Social Affairs Team are happy to announce that Yamaguchi University student group “Cheka” will host an international understanding event as indicated below.

- 3rd Yamagauchi University International Symposium is Held!
On Thursday December 3rd at University Hall of Yamaguchi University the 3rd International Symposium was held with the participation of approximately 70 individuals.

- 3 Undergraduate Students at Yamaguchi University were Selected as Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers!
It has been decided that 3 seniors at Yamaguchi University, who were accepted to the 2010 Spring Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer (JOCV) Program of Japan International Cooperation Agencies (JICA),will participate in a 2-year overseas volunteer program after graduation next spring.

On Saturday October 31st, Yamaguchi University hosted an International Understanding Event under the theme of "Smile for All in the World: Disseminating the Regional Strength of Yamaguchi to the World".
