On Tuesday, March 17, Yamaguchi University concluded the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DGFB), Ministry of Finance of Indonesia to address human resource development, collaborative researches, and scholarship support in the areas where satellite remote sensing can be applied to policymaking and in the field of public administration.

- Workshop in Sri Lanka conducted by an observation team from Yamaguchi University
On Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17, an observation team composed of Prof. Shigyo from the Faculty of Agriculture and other three visited Sri Lanka.
The purpose of this visit was to hold a skill development workshop in the field of genetic resource analysis and to conduct an inspection tour primarily of agricultural technology.

- Efforts of the Yamaguchi International Cooperation Association Introduced at the Yamaguchi Manufacturing & Business Fair 2014
On November 3 and 4, the Yamaguchi Manufacturing & Business Fair 2014 was held at Ishin Memorial Park. Yamaguchi University’s Organization for Research Initiative set up a booth there, and the International and the Regional Cooperation Division introduced the efforts of the Yamaguchi International Cooperation Association.
